Sky's the Limit!

Sophomore Katie Petersen is working on a project called "Sky's the Limit" in Mrs. Keller's Advanced Art Class. The type of project she is working on is expressionism using the medium acrylic paint.
The picture is of a collection of three different paintings of the desert, with trees in the middle ground and different shades of sky in the background. The reason for choosing this picture is, "Simple, I like how the colors blend and how there are many different types of strokes of paint," says Katie.
When using acrylic paint and you can cover your mistakes with more coats of paint, also giving it a really thick texture. But just remember, it's really hard to get out of clothing when you make an "oops!"
