Ord Speech Team News

The Ord Speech Team traveled to the O’Neill Invitational Tournament Saturday January 7th. Eighteen schools competed in the meet. Those speech students participating were Andrew Fields in Varsity Oral Interpretation of Poetry; Amanda Shepperd also in Oral Interpretation of Poetry; Ashley Bruha in Varsity Serious Prose and Star Vera a Novice competitor who competed in two events, Serious Prose and Poetry.
Andrew Fields received superiors in all rounds finishing third in finals. Amanda, Ashley and Star all received Superiors. The next competition for the Ord Chanticleer Speech Team will be Saturday Jan. 21 in Broken Bow. Any parent or student wanting to watch is welcome in Broken Bow.
