Mechanics Class installs tractor GPS unit

The Ord Mechanics Class has just installed a GPS system in a Case International 7140 tractor, owned by Dave Setlik. This tractor now has the Easy Guide GPS system in it, which is accurate between 2-6 inches from the A-B line, or the line set on the GPS that guides the tractor down the field. With this system, all you have to do is turn around at the end of the field!

This was a good experience for the students to have exposure to this new technology, because the field of agriculture is becoming more technical and computerized, its important to know what's going on.
