The Ord High School track and field teams had a busy week last week competing in three meets over a four-day period.  “Our kids really had a busy week this past week”, Coach Derry Trampe stated. “We tried to space the kids out in events and give them a chance to recover but it is still a tough task to compete that close together.  We showed a little wear and tear by the end of the week but I thought our kids really competed well throughout the week. We have a pretty good group of kids this year and we are making really good progress.” The Chanticleers hosted a 9/10 invitational on Monday, traveled to O’Neill on Tuesday, and finished up with the West Holt invitational on Thursday.  A recap of each of the meets is presented below.
