The New West All-Star Classic was held on Thursday, June 13th. Student athletes from four conferences were highlighted in the volleyball game that benefited the Nebraska Kidney Association. The conferences involved were the Southwest Conference, Lou-Platte Conference, Fort Kearney Conference, and the Rep. Plains Activity Conference. The Lou-Platte Conference hosted 16 of its athletes on the volleyball team. Cali Lech and Kelli DeRiso from Ord played. Lech and DeRiso were both 1st team conference selections as seniors. The Lou-Platte Conference team was coached by Ord's Jennifer Remmereid and Ravenna's Abby Sorensen.
