The high school track and field teams had another successful day when they competed in the Mansfield Invitational in Albion on Tuesday, March 28.  In a meet with no team scoring the Chanticleers came home with plenty of medals from the meet.  “This was a meet where we were able to enter as many kids as we wanted in events so no team scores were kept”, Coach Derry Trampe stated. “I liked this because it gave a lot of our kids a chance to compete and helps us as coaches find out what our kids can do.  We had a lot of quality marks on the day with a total of 22 personal best performances.  When I looked through the results it looked like our girls would have won the meet and our boys would have been second if they kept team scores.”
