Jr. Chant Pride program represents the Chanticleer Way at Ord Elementary School

ORD, Neb. - Ord Elementary School (OES) held their annual Jr. Chant Pride sloppy joe feed on August 29th during the first home volleyball game vs. St. Paul.

This year the sloppy joe feed and concession stand raised over $1,900.00!  A special thank you to Ord Grocery Kart (chips), Speeds Apple Mart (buns), and Trotter’s Whoa and Go (cookies) for sponsoring our sloppy joe feed for another year.  Proceeds from this meal assist with student t-shirts, field trips, and other spur-of-the-moment needs to celebrate our students. This is the 16th year the Jr. Chant Pride program has been incorporated at OES.

“Junior Chant Pride is our way of living our mission statement:  Character - Academics - Community.  A belief that starts with our community and encompasses how our school feels we should represent ourselves,” says Doug Smith, OES Principal. “Whether at school, at home, in our community, on field trips, or at high school activities. It is our belief of how we represent ourselves, our school, and our community.”

For more information about the program or how you can donate, please contact the OES front office at 728.3331.
