The Ord golf team continued to improve their scores last Thursday as they shot a 326 at the Lou-Platte Conference Championship and finished runner up to St. Paul. The Chants shot 40 strokes better than a previous appearance at Centura Hills in Cairo.

Individually, Landon Critel dipped into the 70s with a 79 and finished 6th.  Caden Lytle also shot 79 and got 8th.  Colt Meyer got his first individual medal with an 11th place finish shooting an 81.  Brody Blair shot 87 and Austin Stethem 93 to round out scoring.

Coach Mike Bechtold was pleased with the performance.

“We are all heading in right direction,” he said, “Each golfer is working hard to fix areas of their games that can be improved and hopefully we are peaking at the right time.”

The Chant play at Fullerton and have districts on Tuesday, May 20th.
