The Chanticleer boys ended their regular season with a trip to Ravenna on Friday Night. From the start, the Chants controlled the contest, taking a 39-24 lead at the half. From there, the Chants would quickly expand their lead and take an 81-44 victory over the Bluejays. The Chants shot over 50 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range. “I hope that shooting performance carries over into next week,” Coach Gates said after the game. “We did a good job of challenging them in the half-court, and as the game went on, we executed really well on offense,” Gates added. The Chants were led by Beau Wells, who scored 18 points. Knox Nelson added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the win. Landon Critel added 15. Brody Blair added 9 points. The Chants will travel to Elkhorn Mount Michael to take on West Point Beemer in the 1st round of the C1-5 Sub-district on Tuesday.
