Girls 4X100 Weight Person Relay Sets School Record

The Ord High School track and field teams continued to show improvement as they brought home several medals, 47 personal best marks, and a new school record from the Mansfield Invitational in Albion.  The meet was held on Tuesday, March 31 at the Boone Central track and field complex. No team scores are kept in this meet as teams are allowed to enter as many athletes as they want in events.  “This is a great meet for us to find out how all of our kids will perform in a meet situation”, Coach Derry Trampe stated.  “It helps us out as coaches as we look to put relays together and determine who will compete in upcoming meets.  I was very happy with the way our kids competed in the meet.  I could not believe how many personal best marks we had on a day where conditions were less than ideal.  It says a lot about the competitiveness of our kids.  We are fortunate to have a great group of athletes to work with this year.”
