The Chants kicked off their busy week heading to Adams Central to take on the Patriots. This is the first time that Patriots and Chants have squared off in four years. The 2nd quarter was a quarter of runs with the Chants running to a 4 point lead before the Patriots would end the half on a run that gave them a six-point lead. “We played really well in the 1st half but we had a short stretch in there for about two minutes  that set us back.” Coach Gates said after the game. The 3rd quarter opened up slow for the Chants but the Chants would hang around in that quarter and only be down 12 after the 3rd quarter. In the 4th the Chants would only score two points which allowed the Patriots to a 65-40 victory. The Chants were led by Will Grint with 15 points and eight rebounds.
