The Lady Chants had a very active week and with these tournament history has been made. We had a Conference meet at the end of January and these girls wrestled amazing!  Linnea Clemens, Sierra Kluthe and Koryn Klein earned the title of Conference champions for the chants. Alexis Nelson received 2nd place for the chants. These girls have written their names in the history book for the first ever Lou Platte Conference Girl Wrestling Champions and medalist. They deserve all the honors because of their hard work this season!   On the 29th of January they travel to Amherst for the last regular season tournament of the year. Koryn Klein ended with a 2nd place finish. Sierra Kluthe and Linnea Clemens wrestled tough and both received 3rd place. It was great to have the girls get some hardware, and they continue to get better every week!

This past weekend the Lady Chants went to the District Tournament with one goal in mind.  These girls went out and wrestled tough and left it all on the mat. Koryn Klein ended up in the finals and punched her ticket to Omaha in a couple weeks to represent Ord at State! Sierra Kluthe wrestled tough in the hardest bracket in the state in her weight class. She was close to beating multiple girls and just came up short.
