• Final Score: Ord defeated Giltner/Harvard with a dominant 58–29 victory.
2026 Girls State Wrestling (Day 1)
• Semifinalist: Hayleigh Meyers (120 lbs) successfully advanced to the Semifinals after winning both her Round 1 and Quarterfinal matches.
• Consolation Bracket: Three athletes moved to the consolation rounds following losses in Round 1:

• Ellie Boettcher (235 lbs)

Ord girls place first in the Ord Wrestling Invite!
The Ord Girls' Wrestling team placed 2nd at the Summerland tournament on January 12th!
Girls Wrestling Schedule Change: The girls wrestling team will wrestle a Dual with Broken Bow on Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 pm in Broken Bow.
Due to the forecast of rain/snow mix and possible freezing drizzle, Minden has requested that the varsity basketball game start time be moved up. For the safety of students the varsity girls game will start at 5:00 pm and be followed by the boys varsity in the New Gym. The JV games will both be played in the vintage Gym. JV boys at 5:00 pm with the girls JV game to follow.
