The forecast of continued snow and winds overnight will create hazardous travel conditions. Stay Safe Chant Nation!
After consulting with the National Weather Service in both Hastings and North Platte, the decision was made to cancel school on Monday, January 25th. The current forecast shows only 1/2 inch by the morning commute but 3-4 inches to occur by the afternoon commute with 25 mph winds. Ord is right on the line so we may luck out and get less snow, but confidence is fairly high that we will experience winter weather and winds.
The safety of our students is our first priority and we want to give our families as much advance notice of our plans as possible. Stay warm and stay safe.
