The Ord High Drama team will compete in the B-5 district meet on Friday, December 6. Ord will be the first performance of the day at 9:00 am.
Due to the weather conditions, there will be no practice at Ord Jr./Sr. High school on Wednesday, November 27. Also, the wrestling hydration testing has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 5 at 7:30 am.
The Ord Drama team placed 3rd at the LouPlatte meet in Loup City. Katie Fischer was named overall best supporting actress. Also receiving acting recognition: Hallle Jacobs, Aaron White, Addie Sich, Marlee Nebesniak, Cooper Sheets, Reilly Peetz, Trevor Vancura, and Abby Jacobs.
With school called off today in both Burwell and Ord today, the junior high girls basketball game and junior high wrestling match scheduled for tonight have been postponed. No date has been rescheduled at this time.
Due to the anticipated weather forecast of significant snow accumulation and high winds impacting our area, there will be no school or school activities on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019. This decision was made, as always, with highest regard to the safety of our students.
The Varsity Girls and Boys Jamboree basketball games scheduled for Tuesday, November 26 in Amherst have been canceled due to the forecast for heavy snow and high winds.
There are several items in the AD office that were left after the playoff game with Pierce. There are 2 blankets, a stocking hat, a pair of insulated coveralls, and a blue child's winter coat. If not claimed by the end of the week, they will go to the food pantry.

Also receiving acting recognition at the Loup City Parade of Plays for the Chants were: Halle Jacobs, Katie Fischer, Cooper Sheets, Trevor Vancura, and Abby Jacobs.
Ord High School Play Production team competed in the Loup City Parade of Plays on Friday and finished 3rd in the large school division behind North Platte 1st and Gothenburg 2nd. Reilly Peetz received the best overall supporting actress award at the competition.
